betterment. It is a blessing that these wonderful men of the community feel so compelled to
support local charities and become more heavily involved in community enrichment endeavors.
Our involvement with the Vox Regalis Award is only one of the many ways in which we plan
to enrich and improve our community. We have received an outpouring of support from a
variety of organizations and businesses in the area who find our efforts to be particularly
worthwhile. It is out hope to continue to experience this wonderful support system to help
us bring our endeavors to fruition.
Vox Regalis (literally: Regal Voice) is one of the many ways that the Portsmouth Men's
Chorus is reaching out to the community in an effort to encourage community betterment
and foster a thriving community spirit.
The Vox Regalis Fund will be raising money for a variety of intents-
- A scholarship fund for children of the area who have the desire to pursue music
education. Particularly those students pursuing vocal studies. - To fund local arts endeavors focused on community betterment.
(ie helping to program and fund concerts and outreach for area rest homes and
retirement communities and other local businesses and organizations) - Moneys to support "A Safe Place", which is a haven for those who have been in
